'A Walk in the Red Forest'

Ottawa, Ontario, CAN 2004.

Where do we get to know our local wildlife?

Jesse 'Crocodile' Hunter will meet us after work at the local Beaver Trail.

"What are these orange markers all about?" asks AJ. "Why that's the Kingston Trail, eh. 174 kilometres of spectacular Canuck scenery, eh" replies Jesse.

The three of us head out the next weekned for the massive hike down Portland way. We see a carpet snake, turtles, hawks, turkey whatchits, beaver lodges, chickadees, a horse and what a story I have to tell.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2006

Back Home from the annual pilgrimage to Adelaide. Caught up with cousin Dave and second cousins Thomas and Justin. Pretty hot in Adelaide so made it down to the Nourlunga swimming centre for the first time. Unsuccessful on the blow up castle but had fun trying. Organised a get together with Auntie Dot, Veronica, Dave and Ali. Had a nice dinner with party hats then went down to Glenelg to watch fireworks and finish Jamesons, seeing as I was driving. Good time had by all.
